Installing medicine cabinets are quite easy to do and should only take a couple of hours. It is extremely helpful if you have someone that can help you hold it up against the wall where it is going to be installed.

Installing a bathtub may seem like a daunting task but it is actually quite easy if you are lucky enough to have a couple of friends that can help you lift and carry it and you have plenty of room in and out of your bathroom to take the old bathtub out and bring the new one in. Sometimes, the only way to do this is to rip out a wall.

In most cases, all that is required to remove the old bathtub is to disconnect the plumbing, break the caulk seal and pull it out.

If you have tile above the bathtub, it is wise to remove at least one layer of the tiles to prevent them from being broken while you are removing the old bathtub.
It is easier to just remove them and put them back when you are done, than to fix cracked, broken tiles.

Once the old bathtub is out of the way, all you have to do is slide the new one in and connect the plumbing. Make sure it isn’t leaking anywhere and caulk it.

You will have to cut holes in the back of the vanity for any water and drain lines. A pedestal sink comes in two separate pieces to install and the drain and supply pipes must be installed at the correct height.

Measuring is critical with a pedestal sink along with neatness and care. The pipe work has to be very neat and you must be very careful to not tighten any of the fasteners too far or you will crack the china. You may need to add blocking between the wall studs for stability as the weight of the sink will not be held if you merely attach it to plaster or drywall.
