What You Need To Know About Installing a Bathroom Cabinet

When replacing a bathroom cabinet, the most important thing you can do is to plan ahead. You do not want to repeat the job just because the vanity that you choose doesn’t look right in the bathroom or because it doesn’t suit your needs.

It is easy to go out and just buy the first one that you like but if it doesn’t have enough storage space for your needs or is not made well, you will not be happy with the outcome and you will be doing it over in the future.

Make sure that you completely turn off the water supply before you begin taking out the old cabinet and that once you have the old cabinets removed, you repair any existing damage there might be from past leaks or rotting wood. You will have to cut holes in the back of the vanity for any water and drain lines. You can reduce the size of the holes that you need to cut by removing any handles until you have the holes drilled and the cabinet in place, then once you are done and it is in place, put the handles back on.
